[UIDAI] Aadhar Card Fraud se Kaise Bache Best Tips & Tricks 2025 The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) is preparing to roll out tougher regulations aimed at reducing Aadhar Card related frauds, especially cases involving fake Unique Identification (UID) numbers. UIDAI CEO Bhuvnesh Kumar, in an exclusive statement to ET, confirmed that the agency is working on new safeguards to protect the integrity of the Aadhar Card system.
New Aadhar Card Guidelines to Curb Manipulation of Birth Dates and Biometrics
Kumar highlighted that frequent changes in birth dates and biometrics have become a common loophole exploited by fraudsters. To counter this, UIDAI will soon restrict such changes unless the updated information is first reflected in the original official documents, such as birth certificates.
“People try to manipulate their age — reducing it to qualify for sports or increasing it for job opportunities,” said Kumar. “We are determined to stop such malpractices by tightening these processes.”

The UIDAI has taken significant steps by securing direct access to original records of 35 states in the past six months. The agency has also successfully integrated key official documents like PAN cards, CBSE mark sheets, and MGNREGA records at the source level.
Kumar emphasized that any attempt to change Aadhar details would now be cross-verified directly with the issuing authorities to ensure authenticity.
Leveraging AI and Machine Learning to Detect Fraud
The UIDAI is set to deploy advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to identify anomalies in photographs and biometric data. This will help prevent the use of manipulated or mismatched biometric records.
Aadhaar Card Application Process to Go Fully Online
In a bid to streamline the system further, UIDAI plans to make the Aadhaar application process entirely online. The agency will also mandate all states to adopt digitally verifiable documents, ensuring transparency and reducing the scope for forgery.
UIDAI’s Commitment to Aadhaar Card Integrity
With these proactive measures, UIDAI aims to strengthen public trust in the Aadhaar Card ecosystem. Kumar reaffirmed that maintaining the integrity of Aadhaar Card remains the agency’s top priority, and all necessary steps will be taken to curb fraudulent activities.
